The team ‘Lutherie – Acoustic – Music’ (LAM) of the Institut Jean le Rond d’Alembert brings together researchers who share a passion for sound and music as cultural objects, and thus addresses the disciplines of engineering sciences (physics, acoustics, signal processing) and humanities (cognitive psychology, linguistics).The collaboration targets the identification, development and evaluation of sensory categories and the contextbased sound event recognition.
