INCAS³ translates sensor related requests from business and society into scientific projects, with the aim to generate technological breakthroughs and spin-offs. The projects are carried out in close collaboration with universities, colleges and innovative companies in the sensor industry. On the following pages you find description of the different INCAS³ projects.

SAWA

INCAS³ is a research partner in the SAWA subproject monitoring distribution network, which focuses on the monitoring of the drinking water quality in the distribution network.

Sensor City

Sensor City is a project in which two hundred sound measuring devices will be fitted around the urban measuring network of the ‘sensor city’ of Assen. This measuring grid will be used to study what type of sound is emitted into the environment.

SmartBot

SmartBot is a cross-border collaboration involving 24 different partners from Germany and the Netherlands. The aim is to develop multi sensor robot platforms for maritime, agricultural and industry applications. INCAS3 is lead partner in the SmartBot project .

SPRINT

INCAS³ is part of the SPRINT project that aims to reduce falls in elderly people by using sensor systems and serious games to train balance right in their home environment. INCAS³ is focusing on the development of a sensor system that monitors balance, provides input to the game and feedback to the user.
