Abstract:	Curriculum Vitae of Professor H.C. Moll Prof. Dr. Henri C. Moll (1952) studied theoretical physics at the University of Groningen and received a Ph. D. thesis in the field of energy and environmental sciences in 1993. Presently he is the Chairman of the Center for Energy and Environmental Studies IVEM at the University of Groningen in the Netherlands. He chairs the professorship “Natural Resource Use for Sustainable Production and Consumption”. He has been a staff member at IVEM since 1992. He co-ordinated several (interdisciplinary) research projects funded by the Dutch Research Foundation NWO, by the Ministry of Housing, Spatial Planning and the Environment and by the National Research Programme on Global Air Pollution and Climate Change. He was responsible for the Dutch part of the EU sponsored project ToolSust (The involvement of stakeholders to develop and implement tools for sustainable households in the city of tomorrow). He participated in several international networks concerning lifecycle analysis, concerning material flow accounting, and concerning system-modelling and sustainable development. On the methodological level his personal research priorities are the further development and application of chain and lifecycle like methodologies (addressing energy, material and environmental issues) and of system dynamical approaches related to sustainable development issues. Studies addressing the demand-side change potential and shifting consumption and mobility patterns towards sustainability get high priority in his research.
