PhD'sThe Ph.D. students at INCAS³ work on specific research projects within each research line. This research is always conducted in cooperation with partners from industry and science. INCAS³ aims to accommodate some forty Ph.D. research projects by 2013.

Before starting a Ph.D. project, candidates are appointed as pre-doctoral researchers for a period of three to six months. During this time, the candidates get the opportunity to fine-tune their own Ph.D. project in close consultation with the scientific director. Part of the proposal is investigating where the world wide experts on this subject work and based on that, INCAS³ will aim to establish a partnership with the specific university and invite the related professor to supervise the Ph.D. research project.

INCAS³ is open to research proposals from Ph.D. candidates, provided these proposals contribute to the knowledge or application of sensors and sensor systems. If you are interested, you can direct your proposal to Moniek Potze.

a INCAS³ is a member of the Association of Universities in the Netherlands (VSNU) and, as such, the only independent Dutch research institute that can offer Ph.D. positions.
